Bitcoin Whales Accumulate $2.9 Billion as Retail Investors Sell
Large Bitcoin holders have been quietly accumulating the cryptocurrency over the past 60 days, accumulating more than $2.9 billion worth of BTC.
This is the strongest whale buying activity since March, with wallets holding more than 10,000 BTC adding approximately 46,420 BTC during this period.
In contrast, smaller retail investors have been selling nearly 9,700 BTC over the same 60-day period, creating a significant gap in market behavior.
This divergence can be important when analyzing Bitcoin's next major move, as it suggests that large holders may be positioning for a potential recovery while smaller investors are reducing their exposure to uncertainty.
