Bitcoin Whales Deploy $30.5B in Stablecoins to Binance Amid Market Volatility
Bitcoin whale stablecoin inflows to Binance have reached $30.5 billion over the past month, a 40% increase from a little over four weeks ago. Darkfost, a CryptoQuant contributor, attributed this surge in liquidity to whales gradually making more capital available for market exposure. Stablecoins deposited on centralized exchanges can be quickly converted into Bitcoin or other crypto assets without first moving money through traditional banking rails.
The $30.5 billion figure is a 30-day cumulative inflow metric, not representing the exchange's entire stablecoin reserve. Compared to an earlier peak, the current level remains relatively restrained. Darkfost noted that the same 30-day measure exceeded $61 billion around its October 2025 high before falling for several months.
However, Darkfost remains cautious in his interpretation, citing seasonal expectations for October alongside inflation, conflict, and rising bond yields. Stablecoin inflows alone do not confirm Bitcoin buying, as funds entering Binance can be used for spot purchases, derivatives collateral, arbitrage, market making, or trades in other cryptocurrencies.
