Bitcoin Whales Resume Buying Amid Consolidation
Bitcoin's largest wallet cohorts have resumed accumulation, buying more than 41,000 BTC in just 10 days. This comes after Bitcoin climbed above $87,400 and retreated toward $83,000 before recovering above $85,000.
The shift is notable because smaller retail wallets remain largely unchanged during this period. Institutional demand also remains active, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracting $2.4 billion last week.
Corporate treasuries are also buying BTC, with Strategy purchasing 1,665 BTC for about $142.7 million at an average price of $85,681 and Strive separately acquiring 1,107 BTC for $94.5 million.
