Bitcoin Whales Sell, Ethereum Whales Buy as Market Trades Sideways
Bitcoin's recent sideways trading has been observed by analysts, with some taking a closer look at the transactions of large investors, known as 'whales', in major cryptocurrencies.
According to Ali Martinez, who analyzes whale movements from account X, Bitcoin (BTC) whales have been reducing their assets, while Ethereum (ETH) whales have been accumulating them.
Last week, Martinez noted that large investors took different positions in BTC and ETH. During this period, Bitcoin whales reduced their positions, selling approximately 30,000 BTC, while Ethereum whales increased their purchases, accumulating around 60,000 ETH.
XRP whales, on the other hand, maintained a stable position, with their holdings remaining largely unchanged at around 3.9 billion XRP.
