Bitcoin's 2023 Rally Looks Familiar: Analyst Sees $88K Ahead

Bitcoin's recent surge above $85,000 has sparked a new wave of speculation about its potential future trajectory. According to Doctor Profit, a market analyst, this move is following a similar pattern seen in 2022-2023, where the crypto asset faced several rejections around the 50-week moving average (MA50 Weekly) before eventually clearing it.

The MA50 Weekly is currently at $78,700, and Bitcoin recently pushed past that level. Doctor Profit believes a weekly close above this moving average would strengthen his bullish view. This comes after Bitcoin broke below the MA50 Weekly and then reclaimed it seven times in 2022-2023, with five instances followed by bull markets.

Doctor Profit noted that the current market is showing similar patterns to the past, including rejections for three to four weeks followed by a shakeout and recovery above the moving average. This has led him to identify $88,000 as the next target once the remaining resistance levels are cleared.
