Bitcoin's $82,000 Resistance Level Holds Key to Next Move

Bitcoin's price has been consolidating around $82,000 after a recent surge. According to analysts, this resistance level is crucial for the cryptocurrency's next move.

The market structure remains relatively healthy, with strong spot participation and lower volatility. Bitcoin's trading volume has decreased by 35% over the past week but remains significantly higher than before the breakout.

August saw the strongest monthly inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded products (ETFs) since November 2024, with a correlation of 0.87 between ETF flows and Bitcoin's 30-day returns. The relationship between Bitcoin and traditional financial assets has shifted, with its 90-day correlation with gold reaching an all-time high of 0.52.

A decisive break above the $82,000 resistance level could extend the recovery and attract additional demand from underexposed investors. However, sustained ETF outflows or a weekly close below $72,000 would weaken the current recovery structure.
