Bitcoin's $96K Target in Jeopardy as Resistance at $88K Looms
Bitcoin's price has been recovering from the $60K area over the past couple of months, with the current price hovering around $84.7K. According to the charts, the market structure is improving, but BTC is approaching a significant resistance cluster at $88K.
The daily chart shows a notable structural improvement over the summer, with BTC establishing a base around the $60K area before breaking sharply higher from the $66K region. The move through the $75K area shifted the market into a sequence of higher highs and higher lows.
A daily breakout above $88K would strengthen the bullish structure and expose the next major resistance area around $96K. On the downside, the first meaningful support sits around $74K-$78K, which could become an important bullish order block if the current resistance rejection develops into a deeper correction.
