Bitcoin's Altcoin Rally Continues as BCH Surges by 35%
Bitcoin's recent recovery has spilled over into altcoins, with several assets posting double-digit gains. The total crypto market capitalization briefly surged above $3 trillion this week as Bitcoin (BTC) hovered around $87,000. Among the notable gainers were Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Bitcoin SV (BSV), and LayerZero (ZRO).
Bitcoin Cash led the pack with a 35% gain over the past 24 hours, trading at around $358. This surge comes after CME Group announced plans to launch BCH futures on October 19, pending regulatory review.
Bitcoin SV also moved higher, gaining about 28% in the same period, while LayerZero's ZRO token rose by roughly 26.7%. The latter's increase follows a partnership with Anchorage Digital, which has selected LayerZero as its interoperability partner for stablecoin issuance.
