Bitcoin's Bull Flag: Will It Break Through?
Bitcoin's price is currently trading near $77,100 inside a mildly downward-sloping one-hour regression channel. This structure resembles a bull flag following the surge from below $70,000 to $79,461.
The pattern is not yet active, and bulls still need a decisive breakout above the channel for it to be confirmed. The main invalidation zone is between $75,700 and $75,200.
A traditional bull flag has two main parts: the flagpole and the flag. The flagpole is the initial rally, which in this case was Bitcoin's surge from below $70,000 to a local high of $79,461. This nearly vertical advance demonstrated strong buying momentum.
However, after such a large move, markets rarely continue upward in a straight line. Traders take profits, late buyers hesitate, and price begins to consolidate. Bitcoin's current mild downward drift fits the general shape of a possible flag.
