Bitcoin's Bullish Future Hinges on AI Bubble Burst
The AI sector has been rapidly absorbing venture capital funds, reaching a record 80% of global funding in Q1 2026. As a result, liquidity is being pulled out of the crypto market, contributing to its current stability around $60K. This trend is expected to continue until the bubble bursts, at which point Jeff Park, partner at ParaFi Capital, believes capital will migrate back to Bitcoin.
Park's prediction is based on his understanding that AI wealth creation is ultimately bullish for BTC, and when the asset-liability mismatch breaks, capital will flee to Bitcoin. This view is not without criticism, with some arguing that a mutual fall between the stock market and crypto industry could ensue if AI finally falls.
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has also expressed this sentiment, stating that 'there's no cash to go to crypto' due to the dominance of AI investments. However, Park remains optimistic about Bitcoin's prospects.
