Bitcoin's Bullish Momentum Accelerates as Short-Term Holders Recover Losses
Bitcoin's (BTC) current rally is gaining momentum as it approaches $90,000. The latest numbers show that short-term holders are back at breakeven levels, implying that recent buyers are recovering their unrealized losses. This trend has pushed the price back into the $85,000-$90,000 range seen earlier this year.
The Fear and Greed Index suggests that Bitcoin entered 'extreme greed' on September 22nd for the first time since the Q3 2025 cycle. Market sentiment is at a more stretched level than when BTC hit $126,000 in late September-early October 2025.
Bitcoin ETFs are also seeing significant demand, with $937.3 million in net inflows on September 21st. This marked the largest single-day inflow since BTC's October 2025 peak and set another record for the year.
