Bitcoin's Fate Hinges on Crucial $63,000 Level, Analyst Warns
The price of Bitcoin remains stuck between $60,000 and $65,000, but one level in particular is getting attention from analysts. According to Markus Thielen, founder of 10x Research, the $63,000 mark is crucial for determining whether Bitcoin's bear market has bottomed out.
Thielen notes that a monthly close above $63,000 could be a critical signal for the market cycle. He suggests that such a close would push some cycle indicators back into positive territory, indicating a stronger case for the bottoming out of the bear market.
The area around $60,000 is significant because it marks the spot where Bitcoin traded sideways for approximately six months prior to the 2024 US presidential election. Additionally, the initial peak in 2021 was also at $64,000.
