Bitcoin's Lull is Other Cryptos' Gain: BCH, BSV Soar Amid Futures and ETF Buzz
The Bitcoin price has recently dropped to around $84,100 after reaching a peak of nearly $87,250 last week. However, its siblings have seen significant growth during this time.
Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV are the two tokens that have experienced rapid increases in value over the past few months, while the broader cryptocurrency market has shown some signs of cooling down.
The recent surge in prices can be attributed to several factors. The CME Group announced its plan to launch Bitcoin Cash futures contracts on October 19th, which will provide institutional investors with a new way to invest in the cryptocurrency. Additionally, Grayscale filed a request to convert its Bitcoin Cash Trust into a spot ETF, which would make it easier for investors to buy and sell the token.
The growth of Bitcoin Cash has been particularly impressive, with prices rising by over 30% after the CME Group's announcement. The token is currently trading at around $339.
