Bitcoin's Price Path Uncertain Ahead of Crucial Technical Stage
Bitcoin's price path is uncertain as it approaches a crucial technical stage. Analysts are divided on what to expect, with one chart suggesting a possible rally toward $75,000 if the Clarity Act passes, while another projects a late-August low before a potential recovery.
Ted Pillows' chart ties Bitcoin's price movement to the Clarity Act, which could improve sentiment across the crypto market. If approved, Bitcoin could target $75,000 or higher, but it would still need to clear several resistance levels.
However, if the Clarity Act is rejected, selling pressure could accelerate, and Bitcoin's price could decline toward $50,000. A break below the major support zone between $59,800 and $61,400 would weaken its market structure and expose lower levels around $58,000, $55,000, and $52,000.
Jesse Olson's weekly chart suggests that Bitcoin may fall further before establishing a stronger recovery. His projected path points toward a possible decline into the upper-$40,000 to low-$50,000 region by the end of August, creating a new price low.
