Grayscale CEO Sells GXRP Holdings Amid Market Uncertainty
Grayscale CEO Peter Mintzberg has sold some of his holdings in GXRP XRP ETF, reducing exposure to XRP amid growing uncertainty in the crypto market. This marks the first time he has reduced his XRP holdings, as per the SEC filing.
Mintzberg offloaded 2,611 shares in GXRP ETF through broker Cantor Fitzgerald, with a total market value of $53,394. At the time of the filing, he still holds 2.84 million shares.
The sale comes amid a falling XRP price and concerns over the September Fed rate hike and Clarity Act delays. The spot XRP ETFs have seen lower inflows in recent days, with AUM falling below $1 billion across five XRP ETFs.
