Bitcoin's Q3 Surge: A Sign of Strength or a Temporary Bump?
Bitcoin's third quarter performance was its best since 2017, according to CoinGlass. The asset rose by 42.71% during this period.
This marks a significant rebound from the declines seen in the first half of 2026. In Q1, Bitcoin fell by 22.2%, and in Q2 it dropped by 14.09%. However, in Q3, investors poured $6.34 billion into U.S. spot bitcoin-ETF products, making it the funds' best result for 2026.
Despite this influx of capital, analysts at Glassnode noted that the current move is still in its early stages and lacks broad market participation. The price has hit a wall of sellers around $85K, but if it breaks through this resistance, it could signal a sustained uptrend.
