The over $12 trillion U.S. individual retirement account market is slowly incorporating cryptocurrencies, particularly Bitcoin, into its portfolios.

This shift towards greater crypto adoption in retirement accounts has raised a new challenge: how to give investors access to Bitcoin without exposing their savings to extreme volatility.

sFOX, a crypto infrastructure firm, has partnered with Animus to allow over 1,000 IRA account holders to actively manage Bitcoin exposure at scale.

Diana Pires, chief business officer at sFOX, emphasized that institutions are no longer asking if they should invest in cryptocurrencies but how to integrate them into established investment structures.
