Bitcoin's Sharpe Ratio Hits 'Optimal' Accumulation Window

A recent analysis of Bitcoin's Sharpe ratio suggests that market conditions may be ripe for long-term investors to accumulate the asset.

The Sharpe ratio measures return against risk and volatility. According to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, a negative reading indicates deep seller exhaustion rather than unlimited downside.

The current -23 reading is comparable to compressions in 2015, 2019, and 2022, which coincided with final bear market capitulation phases.

Martinez notes that Bitcoin's monthly chart has historically displayed a rare technical setup near major market bottoms. The setup includes an RSI of 43.65, a CMO of -71, and a test of the 50-month moving average.
