Bitcoin’s Sunday Pump Monday Dump Pattern Renews Pullback Fears
Bitcoin’s recent trend of Sunday rallies followed by Monday pullbacks has returned, raising concerns among traders. Market analyst Ali Charts highlighted this pattern, noting that Bitcoin’s Sunday moves have often reversed at the start of the week over the past month. On October 4, Bitcoin climbed more than 1%, trading at $28,584 at the time of publication, renewing focus on the pattern.
A TD Sequential sell signal on Bitcoin’s four-hour chart has added to the caution. Ali Charts pointed out that each of the last four similar signals was followed by a price correction. This technical indicator, combined with the Sunday pump Monday dump pattern, suggests a potential pullback when markets open on Monday.
Ethereum and Solana are also showing matching TD Sequential sell signals on their four-hour charts. For Ethereum, the last two signals were followed by declines of 5.40% and 3.31%, respectively. Solana’s last three comparable signals preceded corrections of 2.44%, 5.76%, and 5.30%. These historical references further support the possibility of a pullback.
Ali Charts combined all these data points, citing the Sunday pump, the recent run of Monday dumps, and sell signals across BTC, ETH, and SOL. The analyst concluded that these factors point to a possible pullback, highlighting the combination of calendar behavior and chart signals.
