Bitcoin's Weekend Showdown: Can It Clear the $82,000 Ceiling?

Bitcoin survived two major setbacks - the Senate's failure to advance the CLARITY Act and the Federal Reserve's rate hike - and rebounded on Friday, reaching an intraday high of $81,400.

The next hurdle for Bitcoin is the $82,000 zone, which has repeatedly rejected its advances since late August. If it clears this level, it could open the path to $84,000 to $85,000, with a technical commentary citing $86,000 as the next meaningful target.

However, if Bitcoin fails to break through the $82,000 ceiling, it may slide back below $80,000 and test the $78,000 zone. The broader structural level near $70,000 remains part of the downside conversation.
