Bitdeer Cranks Up Crypto Infrastructure Expansion
Bitdeer Technologies Group reported strong unaudited operational results for August 2026, highlighting rapid expansion of its AI cloud and data center portfolio. The company fully contracted GPU capacity at its 9.5 MW A102 facility in Malaysia, securing over $800 million in expected revenue, and signed a 10-year agreement adding 65.1 MW at its Johor campus.
Lifting total AI cloud capacity there to 86.8 MW, the group also agreed a 16-year AI/HPC lease at its Tydal, Norway campus with a total contract value of about $4.7 billion, and potential to reach $8.0 billion. Bitdeer's Bitcoin output rose 249% year-on-year in August 2026 to 1,310 BTC.
Supported by a self-mining hash rate of roughly 79.9 EH/s and co-mining hash rate of 21.6 EH/s, this underscores its strategic shift toward a vertically integrated AI and crypto infrastructure platform.
