Bitdeer Expands Texas Mining Capacity with 28 MW Wind-Powered Deployment
Bitdeer is expanding its Bitcoin mining capacity by deploying 28 megawatts of equipment at Soluna Holdings' wind-powered Project Kati 1 in Texas. The deployment, scheduled to begin in September 2026 and ramp up in batches, will add approximately 1.93 exahashes per second (EH/s) to the site's mining capacity.
The equipment will operate within Project Kati 1's K1BC phase and utilize Sealminer A2 Pro Air machines supplied by Bitdeer. The companies have entered a revenue-sharing arrangement, with Soluna providing the site, power, and turnkey operations while sharing proceeds generated by the mining activity.
Soluna CEO John Belizaire stated that 'every megawatt we have energized taught us something about how to run this infrastructure well.' He added that 'co-mining is a natural extension of that operating history.'
