Bitdeer Mines Record 1,310 Bitcoin in August
Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin miner, reported a significant surge in its Bitcoin output for August. The company mined about 1,310 Bitcoin last month, a substantial increase of 249% from the same period a year earlier.
The growth can be attributed to both Bitdeer's in-house data center self-mining hashrate and its joint-mining hashrate, which saw increases during the same period. The company's own self-mining hashrate rose to 79.9 EH/s from 76.7 EH/s a month earlier, while its joint-mining hashrate increased to 21.6 EH/s from 18.7 EH/s over the same period.
However, Bitdeer's Bitcoin holdings as of August end decreased to 61 coins from 257 held just a month prior. Meanwhile, annualized revenue from Bitdeer's artificial intelligence cloud business totaled about $86 million in August, a nearly $10 million increase from July's $76 million.
