Bitdeer Sees 249% Year-Over-Year Increase in Bitcoin Production as AI Cloud Revenue Surges
Bitdeer, a Bitcoin mining company, has reported significant growth in its AI cloud and Bitcoin production operations for August 2026. The company's AI Cloud annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached approximately $86 million, up from about $76 million in July.
In addition to this, Bitdeer secured 100% contracted GPU capacity for its 9.5 MW A102 Malaysia facility, which is expected to generate more than $800 million in total revenue, with recognition starting in Q1 2027.
The company also expanded its AI cloud capacity at the Johor campus with a new 10-year data center services agreement that added 65.1 MW, lifting total Johor AI Cloud capacity to 86.8 MW.
Furthermore, Bitdeer signed a 16-year AI/HPC data center lease in Norway's Tydal campus with an initial contract value of about $4.7 billion, potentially rising to roughly $8.0 billion if an 8-year extension is exercised.
