Bitdeer Strategy Chief Buys Stock After Price Plunge
Bitdeer, a company that provides AI infrastructure and bitcoin mining services, has seen its shares plummet by almost 20% since August 4. Despite this downturn, Haris Fozan Basit, the Chief Strategy Officer of Bitdeer, has shown his confidence in the company's future by purchasing $221,000 worth of stock.
The purchase was made on August 14 when Basit acquired 25,000 Class A ordinary shares at an average price of $8.84 each. This transaction increased his direct holding to 35,000 shares from 10,000.
This move is significant as it shows that key executives within the company have faith in its growth prospects despite recent market fluctuations. The purchase also demonstrates Basit's willingness to put his money where his mouth is, even when the stock price is low.
