Bitdeer's Zero Holdings, 292.3 BTC Sale Match Output
Bitdeer Technologies Group, a Singapore-based operator of bitcoin mines and AI cloud infrastructure, has reported a significant weekly sale of 292.3 BTC, matching its output without adding to its own coin balance. The company's shares were valued at US$10.64 on Thursday's Nasdaq close. According to its Oct. 3 weekly post, Bitdeer's pure holdings remain at zero, excluding customer deposits. The post listed zero net bitcoin added, indicating that the sale did not increase the company's holdings.
The sale of 292.3 BTC represents a 4.2 BTC increase from the 288.1 BTC mined in the previous week, while sales were 3.9 BTC higher. Bitdeer's August operations update listed 61 BTC held at Aug. 31, down from 257 at July 31. The company reported 1,310 BTC mined in August against 1,190 in July.
Bitdeer's revenue from self-mining trailed costs in the second quarter, with US$168.4 million of revenue against US$171.0 million of related cost of revenue for the quarter ended June 30. The company's segment table separately listed a US$2.7 million self-mining gross loss.
