BitFuFu Faces Declining Bitcoin Production Ahead of Q2 Earnings Report
BitFuFu Inc., a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company under ticker FUFU, is set to release its unaudited financial results for Q2 2026 on August 17. The same day will feature an earnings conference call at 8:00 AM EDT.
The production figures from BitFuFu indicate a concerning decline in output. In July 2026, the company mined 112 BTC, marking a decrease of approximately 10% month-over-month compared to June's 125 BTC.
BitFuFu divides its operations across four key areas: self-mining, cloud mining (selling hashrate to retail customers), hosting (managing hardware for third parties), and related services. The company currently maintains a total managed hashrate of 14.2 EH/s and holds a balance of 1,314 BTC as of July 31, 2026.
In an interesting move, BitFuFu announced a $5 million share repurchase program in August 2026. With shares trading around $1.30 at the beginning of the month, this buyback initiative could potentially retire about 3.85 million shares, provided share prices remain stable during execution.
