BitFuFu's Q2 Loss Triples to $20.5M Amid Surging Self-Mining Output
BitFuFu Inc., a US-based company listed on the NASDAQ under the ticker FUFU, reported its second quarter 2026 financial results. The company's net loss widened to $20.5 million due to fair value losses on digital assets and bitcoin holdings.
The loss was driven by $16.9 million in fair value losses on digital assets, according to the report. Despite this, BitFuFu's self-mining production nearly tripled during the quarter, reaching 90 bitcoin, with a hash rate increase of 9.3% quarter-over-quarter to 3.5 EH/s.
The company's hosting revenue surged 254% year-over-year to $3.9 million, offsetting declines in cloud mining revenue. Cash and digital assets totaled $119.5 million, while bitcoin-backed loans decreased to $5.4 million. Adjusted EBITDA was approximately negative $1.5 million excluding fair value impacts.
