Bitget and UNICEF Partner for Blockchain Education in Schools
Bitget and UNICEF have teamed up to create a free online course for young people on money skills and blockchain technology. The program, which has already reached over 642,000 young people, parents, and teachers across eight countries, aims to educate the next generation about financial basics and emerging technologies.
The Introduction to Financial Literacy course is available on UNICEF's Agora learning platform and uses interactive tools such as videos, quizzes, and games to teach budgeting, supply and demand, credit, loans, interest rates, and basic blockchain concepts. Bitget helped create the blockchain sections of the course, using its expertise to explain digital assets and blockchain in a simple and practical way.
Bitget's CEO, Gracy Chen, appears in the course to discuss important blockchain ideas and how they relate to the wider financial system. Chen emphasized the importance of education and the need for young people to gain knowledge and confidence in making smart financial decisions as the global financial system changes.
