Bitget Attacker Spreads Stolen XRP Across Multiple Wallets

An estimated 54 million XRP, worth around $83 million at current prices, has left the five wallets originally used by the Bitget attacker. The funds were stolen during a breach on September 24, and nearly 103 million XRP was taken in total.

The movement of the XRP does not necessarily indicate a sale, as it could be part of preparations for future transactions or simply being transferred between wallet addresses controlled by the attacker.

One possible outcome is that the stolen tokens have been sent to an exchange, but no such deposit has been confirmed. If the funds do eventually reach an exchange, it would mark a significant development in the aftermath of the Bitget breach.
