Share

Bitget is implementing stricter controls on transactions involving 16 cryptocurrency platforms following sanctions actions by US and European authorities.

The exchange has announced that it will roll out restrictions in three stages, targeting platforms such as HTX and EXMO.

Transactions routed indirectly through the affected platforms could also face additional checks, according to Bitget.

The first round of restrictions began on August 7, covering Aban Tether Exchange and Shelbit General Trading.

The second round started on August 13 and included A7 Africa, A7 Nigeria, and PilotFinance.

The largest group faces restrictions from August 23, including HTX, EXMO, Rapira, Aifory Pro, and ABCeX.
