Bitget Crypto Heist: $351 Million Stolen in North Korea-Style Hack
Crypto exchange Bitget has been hit by a massive hack, with hackers making off with around $351.6 million in digital assets.
The heist occurred on September 24, when security systems at the exchange caught unauthorized transfers from a small number of its hot wallets.
According to Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, the attack method used by the hackers closely resembles those employed by known North Korean threat actors.
The stolen funds include ETH, XRP, BNB, AVAX, USDT, and USDC, spread across several blockchains.
