Bitget Crypto Heist: Circle, Tether Freeze Hacker Wallet

Circle and Tether have stepped in to freeze a hacker wallet following a massive crypto heist on Bitget. The wallet, holding around $318,000 in USDT and USDC, has been blacklisted by Circle.

The majority of the stolen funds are still in ether, which cannot be frozen. This move is seen as an effort to prevent further exploitation of the stolen assets.
