Bitget Expands Proof of Reserves to 19 Assets
Bitget has significantly expanded its Proof of Reserves to cover 19 assets, giving users more opportunities to verify whether exchange funds back their deposits. The updated list now includes Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Pi (PI), in addition to other major cryptocurrencies like Tether (USDT) and Ether (ETH).
The expanded coverage also applies to newer tokens, such as Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Near (NEAR). Bitget's Reserve Proofs now show a reserve ratio for each asset, the amount users hold, and how those funds are spread across public blockchains.
According to Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, 'Users shouldn't have to simply take our word for it, they should be able to verify their assets for themselves.' She emphasized that verification must expand as the assets users hold grow more diverse. Bitget has published reserve reports every month since December 2022 and has reached 45 consecutive releases by August 2026.
