Bitget Expands Trading Competition to Combine Crypto and Traditional Markets
Bitget has expanded its trading competition, King's Cup Global Invitational (KCGI) 2026, to include traditional financial market instruments. The competition now offers crypto futures, TradFi perpetuals, and tokenized US stocks for the first time.
The total prize pool is 3 million USDT, with a leaderboard that takes into account trading performance across multiple asset classes. This includes profit and loss (PnL) and volume of trading in various assets.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated that market developments are making crypto assets and traditional financial instruments increasingly connected. The expansion of KCGI is part of Bitget's strategy to develop the Universal Exchange (UEX), which combines trading of crypto assets with traditional market instruments in one ecosystem.
