Bitget Expands Universal Exchange Across Global Markets Amidst Rapid Growth
Bitget, a Seychelles-based crypto platform, is marking its eighth anniversary with an expansion of its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy across global markets. The company's focus is on broadening the range of markets available on its platform, as evident from the significant growth in non-crypto assets, which accounted for 40% of its total trading volume over the past year.
Bitget has been pushing beyond crypto markets by launching stock perpetual contracts, US stock options, and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts. Its rToken product has surpassed $100 million in assets under management within five weeks, recording more than 3 million cumulative transactions. The company's AI Playbook, an autonomous trading agent powered by artificial intelligence, is also a key aspect of its UEX strategy.
Institutional participation and security remain top priorities for Bitget as it enters its ninth year. The company plans to expand its Proof of Reserves coverage from four to 24 verifiable assets and continue investing in security, market integrity, and compliance. Institutional trading is expected to remain a key focus area, with core active market makers increasing by 175%.
