Bitget Eyes Conventional Distribution with BlackRock Talks
Bitget, a cryptocurrency exchange, is in close communication with BlackRock about distributing tokenized exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and other digital-asset products in Asian markets. The discussions could give Bitget a route into conventional investment-product distribution through its tokenized-equity infrastructure and regional user base.
The potential partnership would allow Bitget to distribute traditional financial products, such as ETFs, through its digital-asset infrastructure. This is made possible by the exchange's Reality platform, which supports on-chain representations of equities and ETFs backed 1:1 by underlying shares held with a U.S. broker-dealer.
Bitget has pointed to investor behavior on its platform in making this case. The company said approximately 52% of its users held both stocks and cryptocurrency during the first half of 2026, indicating why Bitget sees an addressable audience among users already exposed to both asset classes.
