Bitget Eyes Regulated Crypto Presence in $100 Billion Bhutan Economic Zone

Bitget has signed an agreement with Bhutan's Gelephu Mindfulness City Authority to explore establishing a regulated cryptocurrency operation within the Gelephu Economic Zone.

The zone is expected to become a major economic hub, attracting international businesses and investment in finance, technology, wellness, education, green energy, and digital assets.

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen described Gelephu Mindfulness City as an emerging center for digital finance and said the exchange intends to contribute its experience in exchange operations, infrastructure, and local talent development.
