Bitget Hack: $351.6 Million in Cryptocurrency Stolen

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has been hacked, resulting in a massive loss of $351.6 million. The largest chunk of the stolen assets is XRP, with 102.93 million units worth around $157.48 million being moved.

XRP accounts for more than half of the total amount stolen from Bitget's hot wallets on September 24. The exchange has paused withdrawals while deposits and trading continue.

The hack's impact on XRP's price is surprisingly minimal, with the cryptocurrency trading at $1.53 as of September 25, up 2.6% in the past 24 hours.
