Bitget Hack: $388M Stolen, $3.9M ZEC Moved into Shielded Pool
A recent hack on Bitget involved nearly $388 million in stolen assets, including Zcash (ZEC). The exchange reported that over $3.9 million in stolen ZEC was moved into Zcash's Ironwood shielded pool on September 30.
The move represented roughly 15% of the total ZEC stolen in the attack. This transaction trail became visible as deposits into Ironwood remain visible, but once inside, the sender, recipient, and amount are hidden.
NEAR Intents' risk system attempted to block a separate route through its network involving more than $50 million in stolen assets. The system rejected most transactions before execution, allowing only about $166,000 to pass through.
