Bitget Hack Costs Revised to $387.5M as Withdrawals Resume

Bitget, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has revised its estimate of assets stolen in a recent hack to $387.5 million.

The increase does not mean that an additional $35.9 million was stolen, but rather it reflects a more complete reconciliation of transactions linked to the original attack.

The attack occurred on September 24 and affected portions of Bitget's hot and warm wallet infrastructure across several blockchains.
