Bitget, a leading cryptocurrency exchange platform, suffered a major security breach in September this year. The hack resulted in the unauthorized transfer of approximately $351 million from its hot wallets.

The company's founder, Gracie Chen, revealed that the attackers may be linked to North Korea. According to Chen, analysis of IP behavior patterns and on-chain data shows that the attack method closely matches known tactics used by North Korean-linked hacking groups.

The affected assets included ETH, XRP, BNB, AVAX, USDT, and USDC, with the largest single-chain loss occurring in XRP. The exchange assured users that its decentralized Bitget Wallet was completely unaffected and that user assets remain secure.
