Bitget Hacked: Over $157 Million Worth of XRP Stolen in Security Breach

Crypto exchange Bitget has suffered a major security breach after hackers stole over $157.5 million worth of XRP, making it the largest stolen asset in the hack.

The attackers made off with approximately 102.9 million XRP, which is roughly 44% of the total value of the stolen crypto, valued at around $351.6 million.

The stolen funds included not only XRP but also 31,890 ETH, $34.75 million USDT, and $21.06 million USDC.

Despite the breach, the price of XRP remained steady near $1.54, gaining about 16% over the past week.
