Bitget Hacker Moves $4 Million in Zcash to Privacy Pool

The Bitget hack has just taken another twist as the hacker moved $4 million in Zcash into a privacy pool, making it even harder to track the stolen assets.

The wallet linked to the hacker obtained about 18,917 Zcash through the recent Bitget hack. This latest transfer accounted for roughly 15% of the total stolen amount.

Zcash supports both transparent and private transactions. Transactions conducted through a privacy pool do not disclose the sender, recipient, or transfer amount.
