Bitget Hackers Hide $3.9M in Stolen Zcash

Bitget's hackers have made it harder for investigators to track $3.9 million in stolen Zcash (ZEC) after moving the funds into Zcash's private payment system, Ironwood.

The money was transferred from two intermediary addresses funded by a wallet linked to the attacker, which received nearly 18,917 ZEC during the Sept. 24 breach of Bitget.

According to transaction records, 2,746 ZEC entered Ironwood in three transfers between 08:15 and 08:46 UTC on Wednesday, representing about 15% of the stolen ZEC.
