Bitget, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, was hacked on August 31st, exploiting a zero-day vulnerability. The attackers made off with $388 million in assets. SlowMist, a blockchain security firm, tied the malicious activity to this date.

The hackers are now attempting to move the stolen funds across chains, but are encountering obstacles due to wallets linked to them being blocked or restricted by various networks.

One such network is NEAR Intents, which froze about $503,000 in hacker-linked swaps tied to the Bitget breach. However, it allowed some funds to pass through its infrastructure, raising questions about its permissionless claim.
