Bitget Hike: Hack Losses Soar to $387.5 Million

Share

Bitget has increased its estimate of the losses from the recent hack to $387.5 million, as token accounting widens.

The exchange announced the revised figure on February 22, noting that it is still working with law enforcement and other relevant parties to investigate the breach.

The initial estimate of $100 million was significantly lower than the actual losses, which now appear to be one of the largest in cryptocurrency history.
