Bitget Hit Again: North Korea-Linked Breach Costs $387.5 Million
Bitget's security team has finished tracing addresses involved in the North Korea-linked breach that cost the exchange $387.5 million, according to TechFlow.
The revised figure includes assets not initially accounted for, such as ZEC and TRX, alongside ETH, XRP, USDT, and BNB.
Withdrawals have been frozen since September 24, but Bitget has promised a concrete resumption plan by noon Beijing time on September 26.
The exchange has also launched a bounty program to recover funds, paying 5% of any recovered assets to those who help freeze or claw back attacker wallets.
