Bitget has launched the Bitget Alliance Program in an effort to make amends after a security incident on September 24. The four-week scheme sets aside 30% of eligible platform transaction fee revenue as a reward pool, which will be distributed based on users' trading activity and assets held on the platform.

The programme runs from September 28 to October 26 and aims to recognize customers who continued using the exchange during a difficult period. Gracy Chen, Chief Executive Officer of Bitget, said that the company wanted to respond directly to support from customers and partners, and give something back to those who stood with them.

The Alliance Program allocates 60% of the total reward pool based on eligible trading activity and 40% based on eligible asset holdings. Rewards will be calculated weekly and paid in USDT, with a minimum participation threshold of 100 USDT applying.
