Bitget Offers 5% Bounties for Frozen or Recovered Funds
Bitget has launched a recovery bounty program to help mitigate losses from a recent security incident. The platform is offering separate 5% rewards for efforts that directly result in affected funds being frozen or recovered.
The program covers voluntary actions taken by exchanges, security researchers, and onchain investigators who participate in the effort. Approximately $318,000 in Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC) has been frozen as part of the incident response.
Bitget is calling on these groups to help with the recovery efforts, which include freezing or recovering funds tied to the security incident. The platform aims to minimize losses for affected users by leveraging the expertise of exchanges, security researchers, and onchain investigators.
